PHYSICIAN SHADOWING PROGRAM

If you are an AMSA Member, you have the privilege of participating in the largest Shadowing Program at the University of Miami!

Our physician shadowing program opens every semester, and we are able to match students with doctors so they get the most out of their undergraduate shadowing experience. We provide a range of different fields from which to choose from, providing both variety and specificity for those students looking to learn what it's like to be a doctor in a potential field of medical concentration!

While not all of the students that apply are accepted, we have a very high match percentage, and students who did not get chosen one semester get priority the next semester they apply, so there is no harm in applying again. We are here to offer the best services to our students to not only allow them to be the best medical school applicants, but also to learn the most in the experiences that they do have. The application for Fall 2022 will open soon!

In addition to the shadowing match program, we offer numerous virtual shadowing opportunities each semester.
